Please join us in welcoming Deputy Kyle Jones to our Worcester County Sheriff’s Office!  Deputy Jones comes to our office from the Ocean Pines Police Department and Ocean City Police Department with 12+ years of combined law enforcement experience.  Upon coming to the Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jones served in the capacity of Corporal with the Ocean Pines Police Department, it is a pleasure to have his supervisor leadership and professional experience within our agency.    We are delighted to announce Deputy Jones as part of our Worcester County Sheriff’s Office team, as a Road Patrol Deputy.<

Please join us in welcoming Lieutenant Brian Cardamone to our Worcester County Sheriff’s Office!  Lt. Cardamone comes to our office from the Ocean City Police Department with 29+ years of law enforcement experience.  He served in the capacity of a Commander for 12 years, as the Office of Professional Standards Commander, Human Resources Commander and Special Projects/ Event Commander.  In addition to his professional career, he is also an accredited Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Academy Executive Program graduate of Class 244.  We are delighted to announce Lt.

Snow Hill, MD — The Worcester County Sheriff's Office announced today that two juveniles have been charged with conspiracy to commit first degree murder and related offenses in connection with what has been deemed a credible threat to Snow Hill Middle School.

On Friday, March 22, 2019, the Worcester County Sheriff's Office was contacted by Worcester County Public Schools officials about a potential threat that was brought to school administration by several students. Members of the Worcester County Sheriff's Office immediately responded and confirmed that the threat was credible.

Sheriff Matthew Crisafulli is pleased to announce that the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is now offering Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.) training, free of charge, to the public.

The C.R.A.S.E. training is designed to increase your chances of surviving an active shooter event or other critical incident
