Sheriff Crisafulli and our family at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is proud and honored to recognize Deputy Mark Shayne, in his remarkable efforts to keep Worcester County safe from impaired drivers. Deputy Shayne was recognized today with law enforcement officers from around our state at the 2023 MADD Law Enforcement Awards Ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Embassy Suites in Hunt Valley, Maryland. In just under two years, Deputy Shayne has taken 200 impaired drivers off of our roadways in Worcester County. The amount of lives potentially saved with these numbers is immeasurable. We thank Deputy Shayne for his expertise in keeping roadways in our county safe! Congratulations to all of the award recipients who keep communities safe in Maryland!
